I obtained the footage for this scene from a tutorial on Video-Copilot. I tweaked a few things and this is how it turned out.

The Coast in Cap Skirring
I cut apart a still photo, created a 3 D scene and added a lens flair. Everything was done in Photoshop and After Effects.

Crumbling Title Reveal
Several shatter effects combined to reveal a title. Created in After Effects.
Title With Lights
A 3D title scene made in After Effects with light rays, particles that only show up in the light, and 2D text given a 3D look.
